I usually get approached by people who need help with one of three tools: Asana, Pipedrive or Zapier. And because I offer support for a project management tool like Asana, I often get asked if I can help with similar apps like ClickUp or Trello. Similarly, with Pipedrive, I often get asked whether I support other CRM’s like Hubspot or Monday. People tell me all the time that I could grow my business if I offered more services. But I find it very beneficial to offer fewer services and to offer the best support we can for that particular tool.
The timeline view in Asana is great for longer projects that have a deadline you need to work backwards from. Timelines help you to visualise which tasks need to be completed before you can progress to the next task or phase of a project so you can keep your team focussed on the work that matters most.

It’s that time of year again when we set goals for the new year. And it’s important to have well-defined goals with specific outcomes you can measure (i.e. SMART goals: Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely). I’ve set some goals for the year. But personally, I find it more useful to have a ‘focus’ for the year.
Every team needs to have a Chief Asana Officer (CAO). Someone with a good understanding of Asana who can help to onboard the team and ensure the tool is being successfully adopted internally. Without a CAO, you often end up in a situation where everyone is using Asana in different ways, some people aren't using it at all and often teams and projects get very messy.
