Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How do I know what book summaries are available?

A: There is a complete list of summaries available here. The list is updated weekly with new additions. You can also download a free PDF summary for a book of your choosing.

Q: What are the best business books for someone looking to start or grow their own business?

A: The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss, The Hard Thing About Hard Things by Ben Horowitz, The Lean Startup  by Erik Reis & Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuck.

Q: What is the best way to reduce stress?

A. Often we have too much on our plate and are constantly trying to do too much. Have a read of these book summaries for some inspiration on eliminating the non-essential and making time only on what's important: The Power of Less by Leo Babauta, Essentialism by Greg McKeown & The ONE Thing by Gary Keller.

Q: What is the best way to be more organised?

A: More often than not, time management is a big issue when it comes to being unorganised. Follow these three steps to get started: 1) Set a clear goal (which motivates you). 2) Dissect this goal into all of the small actionable steps you need to do. e.g. I want to make $5,000/month from my business, but first I should just focus on making $1,000/month. If my product is $250, that’s 1 sale a week and is far easier to visualise. 3) Schedule time to work on these tasks in your calendar. i.e. literally block out the time from 9–10am to show that you’re going to work on ABC task. This third part is key! I find that by planning when you’re going to do specific tasks and allocating an amount of time to it is super useful! By creating this plan it’s much easier to hold yourself accountable and actually get work done. You could also sign up to my Free 3-part video training.

A: Procrastination is a common issue and I too struggle with this. You should have a read of this blog post for some advice.

Q: I am unhappy in my current job or am unsure about what to do for a job/career/studies.

A: A book that really helped me figure out what I wanted to do is Simon Sinek's book Start With Why.

Q: I struggle with confidence, how do I combat this?

A: Confidence is something that is not easy to teach, but two books that are inspiring, empowering and really help with self-confidence are; The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson & You are a Badass by Jen Sincero.
