Welcome to my July monthly report. It's certainly been an eventful and productive month and I have a tonne of exciting news I'd like to share with you.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

1. Making awesome progress with the Personal Productivity Toolkit

I've finished the first draft of the Personal Productivity Handbook (the book component of the toolkit) and it's looking great. Next week I'll be going through the entire book and editing it before I submit it for proofing. This week I've been working on some of the bonus resources that come with the toolkit. I've put together a couple of case studies, the productivity tracker and a complete checklist. This checklist provides a complete list of everything you need to do to put into action the theory I teach in the handbook. I literally haven't missed anything out; it'll include all my secrets and detail everything I've learned about productivity. By following the checklist you can set up an incredibly productive lifestyle.

2. I'm leaving my job

This month I made the massive decision to leave my current place of employment at Mighty Ape. I've been at Mighty Ape since February of 2012 and it's been incredible to watch the company grow and develop. It's a real shame to be leaving this awesome company and I only wish I could continue to be part of it's awesome journey.

So why am I leaving? My buddy Chuck (a very close friend) has offered me a place in his startup. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and be part of an exciting new company from a very early stage. Joining a startup is going to have a massive impact on my lifestyle and I really can't wait to get started. I've been wanting to do the whole startup thing for a while and the next few years are going to be really exciting.

3. Setup a mastermind group in Slack

This month I helped setup a mastermind group with some likeminded online entrepreneurs. A mastermind group (for those who don't know) is when a group of people gets together on a regular basis to share their goals and give each other feedback on their ideas and progress. The group supports one another in order to bring a sense of accountability to each others work. For people who work on their own, a mastermind group provides a great place to share ideas with people who understand what you're going through and what you're trying to achieve.

SlackWe're running the group on Slack so that we can chat informally throughout the week. A lot of mastermind groups involve meeting on a regular basis (either online or in person). As a group we didn't want to have to commit to these weekly meetings and prefer the idea of chatting online in an informal environment. The group has really taken off and the seven of us have already started to help one another.

While this isn't an achievement that you as my reader will directly benefit from, just know that it's allowing me to do a better job of bringing you awesome content and value in the form of this little website.

OTHER STUFF

I'm currently reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius which is a little out of my comfort zone as I've never read about philosophy. The book is basically a collection of Marcus's personal thoughts around how to lead a happier and more fulfilling life. It's a very interesting book and I'm really enjoying it.

That's all for now. Have a great month!
