How to find qualified leads with Leadfeeder [sponsored]

Since becoming an independent worker, one of the biggest struggles I’ve run into is getting new leads who are interested in my consulting services. Consultants, freelancers and coaches live and die by the quality of leads they’re able to attract. And it’s incredibly frustrating knowing that every day people are coming to my site and reading about my consulting options but I can’t see who these people are or how to reach them.

In this post, I’m going to introduce you to Leadfeeder which is an awesome tool for identifying leads who visit your website and quickly following up with them.

Because I’m a passionate Pipedrive and MailChimp user, Leadfeeder gets even better. With the MailChimp integration I can see where on my site subscribers are clicking and navigating to so I can see what they’re interested in. Then, if someone lands on one of my consulting pages I can create a new deal directly in Pipedrive so I can start my outreach and follow up process.

And don't worry, it's 100% GDPR compliant so you can anonymise tracking for visitors in the EU so you don't get in trouble.

Check out how to get started with Leadfeeder:

What is Leadfeeder?

Leadfeeder works by connecting your Google Analytics account to their platform which means they can track visitors on your website and the pages they’re browsing. It then presents you with a list of companies and people you can reach out to when starting your sales process.

Leadfeeder filters and sorts the leads so you can view people by industry, location or even the pages they visit. This is my favourite feature! I don’t really mind where they are because I work with people all around the world. I want to see people who have visited consulting pages on my website:

  • https://paulminors.com/consulting/mailchimp-consulting

Leadfeeder allows you to filter by page so instead of looking at one long list of potential contacts, I can view just those that have visited one of the above pages.

MailChimp integration

When you connect Leadfeeder with your MailChimp account you can increase the value you get from your existing client database and subscribers.

It works by tracking the pages that people visit after they click a link in one of your email campaigns.

This is a great way of delivering more value to the subscribers you already have as you can contact people about the specific things they’re interested in learning about. Saving them (and you) time!

Pipedrive integration

Once you’ve identified a new lead (either a brand new visitor or a subscriber) you can quickly create a new organisation and deal in Pipedrive (affiliate link) where you (or the sales team) can start the outreach and sales process.

So rather than crawling LinkedIn and cold-emailing random people, you can target people who have already expressed an interested in your services. And because they’ve already visited your website, they know who you are and a bit on what you’re all about.

I’ve been using Leadfeeder for the last few weeks and am really enjoying the features it has to offer. Rather than stabbing in the dark (and annoying people) every time you try to contact someone about your service, Leadfeeder makes it super easy to target the right people about your service.

I love Leadfeeder for the MailChimp and Pipedrive integration because it's a natural fit with the tools I'm already using. Of course, it integrates with other CRM's and email CMS's as well.
