Welcome to my annual review for 2024! In preparation for this video, I looked back at the video I made last year and I'm pleased to say that I accomplished all of the goals I set out to achieve at the end of last year!

Major Achievements
Most notably, we finished building our new house. We've had a blast working on this project over the last 2.5 years and we're very pleased to be in our new home. Going forward, you can expect our YouTube videos to be recorded from my new home office.
In the business, I'm pleased to see our subscription revenue (which was a new source of revenue in 2023) growing in 2024. I'm seeing a lot of potential here and this has helped me to realise the benefit in building a business with multiple sources of complementary revenue.
We also completed our rebrand from PaulMinors.com to MinorCo! My goal at the end of last year was to make the business less focused on me, especially as sales and client work are now done mostly by our team of consultants.
This year I trained our consultants on how to do sales; a new skill for a few people on our team. This has been a really positive change to again make the business less dependent on me on a day-to-day basis. It also means for the first time revenue is being generated by other team members, not just me, and I can reward them with a commission for the income they generate.
Along with hiring a new assistant (who has been AMAZING!) I've managed to free up a lot of my time to focus on supporting the team and optimising other areas of the business.
What's next?
In 2025 I'll continue to refine our systems, and processes and support our team with their sales and consulting work.
We're also going to be doubling down on YouTube, with a goal to reach 100,000 subscribers. John, one of the consultants on my team, is going to be editing the videos, planning new content and optimising our existing content.
And finally, on the personal side, we're expecting a baby girl in June 2025 and we're very happy to be adding to our family!
